B. We use high quality, self-lubricating bushings in all of our hinge points. This provides the door with an incredibly strong and durable hinging system. Our hinges are made with a heavy duty, extremely strong knife and blade construction with a solid pin that makes them maintenance free, never need greasing and will last forever!
C. Our trusses are engineered for each individual door. On all of our wider doors warranting extra strength, we fabricate customized webbed trusses.

E. Wooden nailers attached to sturdy framework have three distinct advantages;
a. Ease of sheeting. The wood nailers provide your carpenter or you the ability to use standard screws to attach sheeting, like the rest of your building.
b. Lower amount of cold transfer. The sheeting is attached to non-conducive wood instead of highly conducive metal.

The cylinders used in every PowerLift Hydraulic Doors include a restrictor at each port that was specifically designed for your door. If the system were to experience a sudden hydraulic loss, the internal restrictor will control the descent of the door. The entire hydraulic system will drain through the port at the damaged location. In the event of a sudden hydraulic loss, the door decent will be at slower pace than if you were running the power unit. This system will never allow the door to close quickly!
Steel lines are incorporated as much as possible in our hydraulic systems for an extra level of strength and protection against punctures. This greatly minimizes the amount of hydraulic hoses that are exposed.
Our opening/closing system is designed with a contact switch, ensuring that you are in control of the door operation at all times. The contact switch requires that someone is pressing and holding the switch for the duration of opening and closing. In an emergency, simply release the switch pressure and the door immediately stops at that position.
A. In the event of a power unit malfunction caused by unforeseen circumstances, the system’s fail safe will only allow the door to open. The door cannot close unless the system is operating correctly.
A. The internal lock valves prevent the door from settling or moving after the door cycles. The power unit system must operate correctly by providing a designated amount of back pressure to open or unlock the locking valves. The lock valves guarantee that the door will only operate if the system is totally safe and as designed.
